Brian Benning

Brian started violin lessons at the age of 3 and has been working as a freelance artist since the age of 21. He studied with teachers such as Robert Lipset, Manuel Compinsky, Sherry Kloss and other very accomplished players and teachers. Brian has had the pleasure of working with such artists as Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Prince, Josh Groban, Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, Stevie Wonder and others. Brian has played on the soundtrack for several of Star Trek movies: Voyager, Deep Space Nine and Enterprise. He's traveled to Japan 4 times on various orchestra tours and he often plays with Santa Barbara Symphony, the Choral Society Orchestra, and with Golden State Pops Orchestra.

As a singer, Brian has sung with the Los Angeles Master Choral and he's sung back ups to Sam Smith and Mary J Blige at the Grammy's. Brian sang in a men's chorus accompanying Adele at the Oscars. He sang on the choir vocals for the movie Joyful Noise with Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton and continues to freelance around Los Angeles as a violinist and singer.
