Diana Parmeter received her Master of Music degree in cello performance from Rice University. Since then she has toured worldwide as an orchestral and as a chamber musician. From 1991 - 1994, Ms. Parmeter traveled to Japan, where she performed extensively as a member of the Nidom String Quartet. In 1993, she became a member of the Chicago Civic Orchestra where she performed under such renowned conductors as Zubin Mehta, Pierre Boulez and Daniel Barenboim. While living in Chicago, Ms. Parmeter also enjoyed a busy chamber music life and was a finalist in the 1995 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. She moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and has been performing frequently since then. Disney Hall and Segerstrom Hall are just a few of the prestigious venues at which Ms. Parmeter performs. Besides classical music, she has played with jazz, pop and rock artists as well. These include Dionne Warwick, John Denver, Vic Damone, and the Japanese rock band, Mono. Ms. Parmeter can also be seen playing cello in the Motley Crue music video, Without You.
