As a scholarship recipient from the University of Texas at Arlington, Anne earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance as a student of Leda Burak Larson. During her time at UTA, Anne sat Principal Cellist with the University Symphony under the direction of Dr. Robert McCashin. She was also a member of the Pavane String Quartet and the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra.
After moving to California, Anne has become an active freelance musician performing in numerous venues and events in the Los Angeles area. From 1995 to the present, Anne has held the position of Principal Cellist with the Claremont Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed with other various ensembles including the Southland Symphony Orchestra, La Mirada Symphony, Victor Valley Symphony, McKinley string quartet, Hill Street string quartet, Inland Chamber Musicians and the Ocdamia Music Group. A few notable performances include an orchestral performance at the Microsoft Theater backing up Shahkar Bineshpajooh, a soloist on the Beethoven Triple Concerto with the Claremont Symphony, KLOS live radio broadcast of A Christmas Carol, and a cello choir at the Nation Cello Congress in Phoenix, AZ.
Anne as also been involved in recording projects at the Frankfurt Studio, the Master's College and the Los Angeles College of Music.
When not performing, Anne maintains an active private teaching studio and coaches cello sections in the Arcadia School District at both the high school and middle school level. She has also coached chamber ensembles for the Crescendo Young Musician Guild, cello sections for the Claremont Youth Orchestra and the Pasadena Youth Symphony.
