Anna Koito

Anne Koito has played curbside with

Attended Colburn School of Performing Arts in Southern California 1983 to study cello.

Moved to Nigata, Japan 1985 and attended Toho Gakuen School of Music for Young Artists in 1988.

Attended Toho Gakuen School of Music for High School in 1994.

Earned a degree in the College Diploma course at Toho Music University 2002.

Studied with Katsuro Washio, Phillip Mu Milere, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Robert Mann, Sumiko Kurata.

Won Special Award in Junior Cello Competition, Sapporo, Japan, 1994.
Performed Awards Ceremony Recital, Suntory Hall, Tokyo, 1995
Performed in France Academy Music Festival, Kyoto, 1997
Performed in 20th Annual Kirishima National Music Festival, 1999
Performed with Seiji Ozawa and the Forest Orchestra, Okushiga, Matsumoto, and Karuizawa, 1999
Performed at World Cello Congress III in Baltimore, MD as guest performer, 2000
Cellist for Nigata Symphony Ensemble, 2000-20006
