Via Instrumental Casting, Lucy has played many live gigs and she appears as a violinist in a music video with Asake.
Lucy has been playing the violin since age six and comes from a musical family. Both her parents are musicians and her four-siblings play as well. She has performed with many local community orchestras over the last several years. She played in honor orchestras during middle and high school. Lucy has received superior ratings in local SMSBOA festivals for solo performance numerous times. She has taken violin lessons from her mother, Anna Adkisson, Michelle Chase-Bass, and currently is a student of Gail Mellert. She teaches violin classes in elementary school and also gives private lessons. Lucy has played with songwriter groups and bands, where she enjoy improvising off lead-sheets and playing by ear. She plans to transfer to a university and finish her music major and then pursue a teaching credential. |
